If you are just joining us: Longtail was a snow leopard that the Trust was studying in Mongolia. He was shot and killed on New Years Day, 2009, by a Mongolian herder (first posted on this blog January 16) . We have completed a full investigation concerning his death, and we are taking decisive action to ramp up our conservation work in the region. Thank you for following this story.
