A new and exciting trend is to make giveaways count! No more plastic water bottles and flashlights on lanyards for Zoos.  In 2009, the Roger Williams Park Zoo (RWPZ), and the Cape May County Zoo ordered a total of 500 felt ornaments to give away to conference participants raising $1,500 for snow leopards. RWPZ also ordered 225 of SLT’s organic cotton canvas bags to use as delegate bags.  Jennifer Hennessey, Conference Chair for RWPZ wrote, “The conference went great and everyone LOVED the bags and ornaments.  Thank you for everything.  It was a pleasure working with you.”  Marwell Wildlife followed suit ordering 150 ornaments to include in their conference delegate bags. Additionally, the Cape May County Zoo and Marwell Wildlife hosted a booth to sell SLE product, raising money for their own zoos and for the Snow Leopard Trust!
