Sharpstein Elementary School
Mary Cortina's class at Sharpstein Elementary School in Walla Walla, Washington held a month long information and sales booth at their school. Selling products during teacher-parent conference weeks and over the holidays, they raised more than $5100 from selling Snow Leopard Enterprise (SLE) products! Of this, more than $2600 came back to the Snow Leopard Trust, and the school kept the remaining $2400. The three classes chose to split the remaining money evenly, with the 3rd graders adopting an animal from National Wildlife, the 4th graders donating to Rain Forest Alliance and the 5th graders donating to a local organization that helps the homeless.
