Helping Four Special Snow Leopards
Let us introduce you to four special snow leopards...

Inquisitive likes to stick his nose in our cameras. Longtail has a 3 foot (92 cm) tail and he hates trap cameras (he bit into and destroyed one a few months ago). Eureka is our first and only girl so far. And last but not least, Aztai is a good hunter who likes to travel. In September he killed the biggest ibex our research team has ever seen, and in one day alone he walked 11 miles (17.7 km). Aztai, Eureka, Longtail and Inquisitive are the face of snow leopard conservation; the more we learn from them—how they act, move, travel, and hunt—the more empowered we'll be to save snow leopards in all 12 of their range countries. Please donate today to Longtail, Aztai, Eureka, and Inquisitive's survival! You can play an important part in saving snow leopards. Your love for them is what makes our work possible. I fully understand I might be asking a lot of your right now, but this time of year is so important that it dictates what programs we can offer the following spring. The good news is, the Snow Leopard Trust has procured a grant from the Felburn Foundation to cover our operating expenses (rent, office supplies, etc.) for 2008. This means more of your money can go straight into the field. Thank you for your commitment to protecting this special cat for future generations. |
