It's a Boy! New Leopard Joins Study

boycatOur team in Mongolia have successfully collared another snow leopard, a young male!  He is the eighth cat to join our GPS radio collar study. Many of us have been waiting in quiet anticipation to hear news from researcher Orjan Johansson, not knowing when another wild snow leopard would be captured, collared and released. The news is good--the young cat, temporarily named "M7", is in excellent health, and he is helping scientists learn more about this elusive and endangered species. Read the details here.
